Research & Development - Treego

Treego is a tree planting system being developed for the commercial nursery industry in Australia and overseas.

The Treego facility is located at Robertson, NSW.

Treego will comprise a new approach to the utilisation of tree stock in large-scale projects. It involves the ‘growing on' of special tree stock in modular planting containers designed to facilitate the transplanting, transportation, installation and future relocation of large tree stock economically and safely.

The Treego system will incorporate innovations including:

• Speciality tree stock never need to be removed from the custom designed Treego container.
• A specially designed system allows the Treego tree to be moved easily at any time. This allows complete design freedom for projects that require large tree stock to be relocated within different configurations on a site.
• Deep root irrigation system.
• Permeable, flexible container that contains the root system within a special growing media, which also functions as a permanent root barrier.
• Specially selected and grown tree stock for specific commercial landscaping use.
